How to: Change fax print settings.
Solution:
Click the 'Start' button, select 'Settings', and select 'Printers'. Right-click the 'Fax' icon, and click the appropriate tab. Make the desired changes, and click 'OK'.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Printers'. (The 'Printers' dialog box appears.)

3) Right-click the appropriate fax icon. (A pop-up menu appears.)
4) Select 'Properties'. (The '<fax> Properties' dialog box appears, where <fax> is the name of the selected fax driver.)
NOTE: The following steps refer to a specific type of fax driver. Steps may vary, depending on the fax driver currently selected.
5) Do one or more of the following:
NOTE: Many of the options in the '<fax> Properties' dialog box do not apply to the fax driver.
a) To set the paper settings:
1] Click the 'Paper' tab.
2] In the 'Orientation' group, select either the 'Portrait' radio button or the 'Landscape' radio button.
3] In the 'Paper Size' group, select the desired paper size.
NOTE: The paper size options include 'LTR', 'LGL', 'A4', and 'B4'.
b) To change the resolution and shading:
1] Click the 'Graphics' tab.
2] In the 'Darkness' group, click and drag the slider to the desired darkness setting.
3] In the 'Grayscale - Halftoning' group, do one of the following:
a] Select the 'Solid Black and White' radio button to print in black and white only.
b] Select the 'Patterned Grays' radio button to print in grayscale.
6) Click 'OK' to close the '<fax> Properties' dialog box..
7) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close' to exit the 'Printers' window.
